Avocado: A Wonderful Fruit


Creamy, buttery avocado. This fruit is both healthy and delicious. A diet rich in avocados has been shown to reduce LDL (bad) cholesterol and increase HDL (good) cholesterol. Most of the calories that come from avocados are fat calories so it should be consumed in moderation however avocados contain healthy monounsaturated fat. Forget bananas, avocados contain a whopping 60% more potassium. Avocados are one of the top fruits rich in fiber. And let’s not forget how rich in vitamins they are, they’re chalk full of vitamins B, E and K.
